摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for accurately estimating a reference orientation from a damaged metallic material.SOLUTION: A reference orientation estimation method is provided for estimating a reference orientation from a damaged or destroyed metallic material, the method comprising a measurement step for irradiating a metallic material with an electron beam to measure crystal orientation at each measurement point by electron backscatter diffraction, and a computation step S45 for removing some of the measurement points whose crystal orientations have been rotated and computing a highest density point of crystal orientations.
