摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sensor which high sensitivity which detects a chemical substance dissolved or dispersed in water. SOLUTION: The optical sensor 1 for detecting a chemical substance in water is provided with a detection element 2 having a polymer thin film 22, a light source part 3 for radiating light for irradiating the polymer thin film 22, and a light detector 4 for detecting intensity of lights reflected from the polymer thin film 22. The detection element 2, light source part 3 and light detector 4 are fitted integrally with a housing 7. The polymer thin film 22 is formed on a high reflection substrate 21, and mutually acts on a chemical substance dissolved or scattered in water in a water passage 8.
